Angela C. Thompson, Esq.
Associate attorney Angela Thompson assists community associations and their boards of directors in the management of their common interest development subdivisions. She provides assistance in day-to-day operational and general corporate matters, including the interpretation and enforcement of the restrictive covenants which apply to these communities. Ms. Thompson also assists community associations in litigation. Her litigation background includes representing homeowner and condominium associations in all facets of litigation including covenants, conditions, and restrictions (CC&Rs) enforcement, obtaining and enforcing judgments, advising in bankruptcy matters, contract disputes, Department of Fair Employment and Housing complaints, and defending associations against homeowner-filed lawsuits.
Ms. Thompson also assists families and individuals with trust, estate, and special needs planning. She has extensive experience in creating tailor-made strategies to safeguard her clients' assets, direct distribution of their wealth, and leave a lasting legacy to their loved ones and most cherished causes.
Prior to joining Baydaline & Jacobsen LLP, Ms. Thompson spent more than twelve years in private law practice, focusing on trust and estate law, real estate and environmental regulatory law, and civil rights matters. She has prevailed in both bench and jury trials in California state and federal courts and has argued appellate matters before the California Court of Appeal.
Ms. Thompson received her Juris Doctor from Oak Brook College of Law, where she graduated cum laude. She is admitted to the California and Maryland State Bars, the Northern and Eastern District Courts of California, and the Third, Fourth, Seventh, Ninth, Tenth and Eleventh Circuit federal courts.
